Ephesians 4:1-16

Introduction-

1. Centerpointe Baptist Church Needs Unity. 
1. Unity Begins With You In Your Walk.
1. In humility
2. In gentleness
3. With patience
4. Bear with one another in love
5. Eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace
2. You have examples of unity in diversity.
1. The Church
2. The Trinity

1. Centerpointe Baptist Church Needs Diversity. 
1. Diversity is a gift from Christ.
1. Christ gives individual gifts.
2. Christ gave leaders.
2. Christ has a purpose for his gifts.
1. To equip the saints for the work of the ministry.
2. To build up the body of Christ.

1. “Are We There Yet?” 
1. The Goal:
1. Until everyone attains to unity of the faith
2. Until everyone attains knowledge of the Son of God.
3. Until everyone reaches maturity- the fullness of Christ.
2. The Need:
1. We will no longer be tossed about.
2. We will no longer follow after every wind of doctrine.
3. The Journey:
1. Speak the Truth in Love.
2. Grow up into the Head- Christ.
1. Each individual joins together through Christ.
2. Each individual part works properly.

***The body then builds itself up in love.
