    Centerpointe Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church that was started in 2011 in Huntersville, NC. We strive to know Christ and Make Him Known.

    Striving to honor the Lord through Christ-centered worship, gospel-centered ministry, and continued church planting both here and around the world, while maintaining a warm atmosphere at home.

  • Heston Blake

    Pastor

    Pastor Heston and his wife Rebekah moved to Huntersville, NC to plant Centerpointe in 2011.

    Heston graduated with an undergraduate degree in Mass Media, while believing he was led into some sort of pastoral ministry.

    Heston decided to attend Bob Jones Seminary and completed his Master’s in Counseling in 2007. He then went on to finish his Master of Divinity degree in 2010.

    As God began to work in Heston and Rebekah’s hearts in a variety of circumstance, Heston and Rebekah sought counsel from other pastors and ministry leaders and landed in Huntersville, NC that they would call home.

    Heston enjoys a variety of sports and was the former assistant basketball coach at Cannon School in Concord, NC as well as enjoys making use of a private pilot’s license.

    Pastor Heston’s wife Rebekah has had many opportunities to participate in church planting. Her parents began a church when she was in Junior High School, and has had many other ministry responsibilities. Rebekah previously coached Junior Varsity girls’ basketball at a local public high school as well as serving in her sending church in the nursery and Kids for Truth Ministry. She also plays a behind-the-scenes role helping Heston in many ministries that he is involved with at Centerpointe. Heston and Rebekah have four children: Annie and Charlie, Natalie, and Molly.

  • Jacob Rodriguez

    Youth Director

    Jacob and Melissa Rodriguez joined the staff of Centerpointe in January 2022. Jacob and Melissa pour into Centerpointe in many ways with the majority coming in the area of children’s and teen ministry.

    Jacob is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree while seeking to point our children to Christ at Centerpointe.

    Jacob’s wife Melissa is an elementary school teacher whose talents are put to use every week at Centerpointe.

    Jacob and Melissa are also dog parents to their puppy, Bronco.
